Cecilia Feilla, Associate Professor of English and World Literature, has a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from New York University. Her teaching and research interests include 18th-Century Literature, the early history of the novel, gothic literature, urban theory, and women writers. Her current research concerns the figure of the tutor in 18th-Century novels of education and seduction, and the persistence of medieval forms and narratives in the modern era.
