Welcome class of 2015! This is the third year that the entering freshman class at Marymount Manhattan College has participated in the Common Reading Program. A faculty committee chose this year’s selection: the award-winning novel, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, by celebrated author Mohsin Hamid. Students should read The Reluctant Fundamentalist before arriving at MMC in the fall and attend a faculty panel during Orientation Week that will set the stage for discussions in your Learning Community courses.
